I, the undersigned, hereby declare that I wish to obtain an Internet MasterCard Web surfer account issued by the issuing bank, subject to all the applicable Laws and to the following terms and conditions:

The account is valid only for use on the internet and no embossed card shall be issued to the cardholder. A reference device, containing the account number, expiration date, CVC2 and the issuer name shall be delivered to the cardholder either physical or via e-mail. Attempted use of the account outside the worldwide web shall be considered as fraudulent use of the account, resulting in automatic and instantaneous cancellation of the account. Face-to-face, retail merchant, ATM or cash advance transactions shall not be approved, authorized or honored on this card.

The account is a prepaid account with no additional credit facilities being granted on it. The original amount shall be deposited by the cardholder into the account at the issuing bank, and shall be depleted by the transaction posted on, and charged to, the account. The cardholder may periodically deposit funds at any participating bank (if any) to reactivate the card. The cardholder has the option to receive a general purpose MasterCard card from the issuing bank on this account, but only if the cardholder fulfills the credit criteria required by the issuing bank.

The card holder shall be fully responsible for any and all transactions on the account, whether authorized by the cardholder or not. The cardholder shall have no recourse or charge back right regarding disputed transactions appearing on the account, even if not authorized by the cardholder.

The cardholder shall not receive a statement at the end of the month, but if the cardholder wishes then, by logging onto the relevant site, the cardholder may review his account summery and may request statements. It is understood that such statement is free or charge.   

The reference device and the account remain the property of the issuing bank which reserves to itself the right to withdraw or cancel it at any moment, or not to renew it. With no obligation to indicate or justify the motives.

Upon the expiration date indicated on the reference device, the account shall be automatically renewed for an additional year and the subscription fees then in force be automatically charged to the account, unless the cardholder notifies the issuing bank on contrary, at least one month prior to the expiration date.

The account will normally be accepted by all internet sites displaying the MasterCard logo and accepting international cards for payments of their goods or services. However, in the events that the account is not honored or accepted by an internet site for any reason whatsoever, neither the issuing bank nor its agents or subcontractors shall incur any liability or be held responsible to the cardholder or the internet merchant or site provider in connection therewith.

The issuing bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The cardholder shall be notified accordingly. Continued use of the cards constitutes acceptance of such amendments.

The terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws and regulations of the issuing country of Turkey. The domestic court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes which might arise between the issuing bank and the cardholder even in the event of disputes concerning obligations incurred or contracted abroad.

The cardholder irrevocably authorizes and permits the issuing bank to disclose such information that it deems fir concerning the cardholder and its affairs to the issuing banks’ associates, branches’ assignees, agents or any other party and indemnifies the issuing bank from any liabilities thereof. The cardholder gives a waiver to the issuing bank from observing the provisions of the Banking Secrecy Law in this respect.
